Performer

As a performer, Zach Cardwell is proving himself to be a tenor of great promise, equally comfortable in staged productions and as a soloist in a recital or concert setting. In his appearance with the Ronen Chamber Ensemble for their concert England: The Musical Hub, his performance of "Silent Noon," by Ralph Vaughan Williams, was lauded as an "atmospheric interpretation." Additionally, he made his international performing debut in Eastbourne, England in a recital in August, 2013, with performers from throughout Europe and the United States and was a featured artist in a local recital during his time in Nice, France the following spring.

Having grown up as a boy soprano in the Christ Church Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys in Indianapolis, choral singing is close to Cardwell's heart, as well. He has performed masterworks by composers such as Bach, Britten, Handel, Haydn, and Mozart with a variety of ensembles located in the mid-west and Great Britain.

Currently, Zach works in the greater Indianapolis area, consistently appearing as both a choral singer and soloist for various churches and organizations, is the tenor section leader at Trinity Episcopal Church and is a regular in local recording studios, such as the Aire Born Group and The Lodge, recording for the labels of Hal Leonard, Broadway Junior, Boosey & Hawkes, Lorenz and many others.
